We have measured the in-room sensitivity of all our speakers!

These are all measured @ 2.83V @ 1 Meter on axis, C-weighted with white noise, using a calibrated mic (UMIK-1) and REW. The key thing to know is these are in-room - so there is room boost - which is where we listen to music, of course!

For reference, we also measured the Sony SS-CS5M2 speaker - we measured 92dB SPL, in the exact same set up as our speakers. Erin’s Audio Corner measured this newest gen version at about the same sensitivity as the original of ~85-86dB - room lift is about +6dB.

A customer, Eamonn - sent me this photo of the Tower 6 speaker he built, and this is what he wrote:

"I wanted to update you on my speaker build for what it's worth. I finished the project about three months ago, which gives ample time to get used to the sound bedding in etc. I built with Baltic Birch plywood and the best available crossover components (otherwise what's the point?). Design and finish were kept as simple as possible.

I am extremely impressed with the sound I am now getting and I heartily congratulate you on your meticulous work. Bass is so good that I am still playing around with the subwoofer or no subwoofer question. Mids and highs also great with incredible, accurate central focus .
