What you are getting for your money, is a 12 page PDF instruction manual, with more than 50 images and photos. Those include response graphs , and step by step photos of doing the work, etc. as well as links to components.

There are 3 physical mods you can make - one in particular is helpful to the way this speaker sounds when you turn it up to higher volumes. The other two are good, but more modest in their effects. Both of these involve improving the bass response; so along with the crossover mod, the bass / lower midrange is greatly improved, I think. Overall, the modifications together make sound quality improvements that I think are clear and obvious.

There are 2 options for the crossover mod - the "Bang for the Buck", and the "Ultimate". The ultimate crossover option uses the best quality parts that are still reasonably priced; while the BftB option gets most of the sound quality improvements, at an even more reasonable price - at the time of this writing, these cost about $90 US and $55 US plus shipping, respectively. These options are discussed and compared. I do not sell parts, nor am I able to sell completed crossovers - this would be way more complicated than I can contemplate.
